    Swansea v Huddersfield

Well here we go again guys, another home match, and another try to get a first home win of the season. You can play all the attractive possession football you like but if you don’t win matches, which after all is the object of the game, you end up getting relegated.
It maybe early days but the lower you sink the harder it is to recover.
We are just above the relegation zone on goal difference and are struggling to get to grips with a new style of play. How long it will take before we start winning again is the big question. Some fans are already restless, others say give it time. With one win in eight matches the clock is ticking.
Huddersfield, who had won four of the last five matches and are sat just outside the play-off spots on goal difference, suffered a shock 0-2 home defeat to the then manager-less Forest last Saturday, even with 71% possession, and will be looking to get back on track against us on Saturday. The Terriers head-coach since July 2020 is Spaniard Carlos Coberan, plucked from Leeds, where he had a dual role as first team coach and U-23’s head coach and was highly thought of by Marcelo Bielsa.

    That’s much better boys bach.
The first half was exactly how we want to be, dominant and creating chances, crisp accurate passing and working for each other.
Shame we didn’t score more goals, but the chances went begging.
Second half Huddersfield came into it more but couldn’t break us down and had zero shots on target in the 95 minutes.
Onwards to Wednesday and a much stiffer test, Fulham away. Come on boys you know you can do it.

Cabango and Bidwell the only survivors from the starting line up of the Brighton defeat as Martin made nine changes for Huddersfield, after resting our best players last Wednesday.
A win yesterday has eased the pressure on the players and the coach, now we need to build on that.
