Lai is 100% the problem. Given the squad we have ..... Klopp, Guardiola, Ferguson, Wenger ... would all struggle. This is why I refuse to have a go at Val or the team ..... we are what we are .... a top half Championship team ... maybe even top six .... but no star quality and no depth in the squad. If we don’t invest .... what do we expect. We will likely be in the promotion mix end of season ... top two not so sure ... but expect the Play-offs. The frustrating thing is with a bit of investment - a quality striker and a ball playing midfielder to replace Pereira - we would walk this league.
The sooner the disinterested Chinaman goes the better for our club ....
