O/T Fuel Queues

The subject of the thread is Fuel Queues. The current fuel ‘crisis’ has nothing whatsoever to do with Brexit. The crisis is due entirely to total idiots panic buying, the country has a very large number of very stupid people amongst the population, it makes one wonder how some of these fools even have the intelligence to pass the driving test. There is no fuel shortage, there is a very minor problem with fuel deliveries to a small number of filling stations but nothing that would prevent everyone obtaining all the fuel they need for normal day to day living. Yes, there is a wider problem with the shortage of HGV drivers but it has not affected fuel supplies. The so-called problem has been greatly exacerbated by the BBC who continue to make a political issue out of it to bash the government; they are a disgrace. I wonder how long it will take for the idiot panic fuel buyers to realise their stupidity? Perhaps they never will; just take a look at the weeks TV programmes, almost total dross, presumably for those with the panic buying mentality, makes you realise how many of them there are. What a sad state the country is in.

I agree the BBC and media in general have a lot to answer for! Surely they should be held accountable for stirring the pot and acting as the catalyst for this debarcle?

Are they ever held accountable? They seem to do what they like. The clowns were talking this morning that they hope that the Government gets on top of the fuel crisis.....after the BBC caused it by promoting mass panic. At least they finally showed that there is a driver shortage worldwide eventually. Of course China's huge lack of drivers is obviously since they left the EU recently.
