Match day Thread: blades v Rams

Will the fighting talk of the past week be carried into the pitch or will we get a reality check from a team on the up after a bad start?

    Anyone?

Hopefully!! No hiding from what little talent we have, and whilst Rooney is ranking very highly in my estimations as a man, his footballing decisions as manager have their own stats.
Same team as last time, fingers crossed for another battle and we move above Forest.
Feeling optimistic, and feel there isn't much to lose, so hopefully it takes the pressure off the players too.

We are 6 points adrift of the florists - under what scoring system can we make that up in one game?

Can't fault the guys for the performance, though Roos is IMO an accident waiting to happen, but Derby are not getting any luck at all.

Ah well league 1 here we come, some new grounds to visit I guess.

Gobsmacked. I feel like I've been pretty matter of fact for quite a while. Not been this emotional over a game, even a Rams game, in a while.

Gutted. They had the most of the game while we seemed to have the better chances. Their one big threat was the penalty. We forced more saves from the keeper. Hit the bar. Hit the post.

They won possession but that was about it.

    Sterling performance.

Roos deserved yellow. Not a red IMO and I hope we appeal.

Maybe got away with a penalty against for the Jozwiak challenge.

    What wa Davies thinking?

Really proud of the fight shown. They won't grind us down.

The pen robbed Davies of MOTM so, for me, in his 700th game, Jags. Simply excellent.

I do believe that I have my old faith and belief back. God, I love the Rams and the rest can **** off because whatever happens we WILL be back.

    Good to hear MA.
Dread to think who at the club has done what to God knows how many black cats. We seem to have no luck at all, but I do feel much the same as you describe in that final sentence of yours. Well said.

To be fair one only has to look at those clubs that have gone into administration in the past few seasons, they have all bounced back.

This season's a write off, all that can happen is we play with pride and hopefully get new owners and a clean slate to start next season.
