It was the white diesel Flour, from the road wagon diesel tank, the loading shovels, 360's
& bulldozers I used were red diesel, been driving heavy plant since I was 16 years of age.

We were also a horticultural firm, doing specialised top dressings, to which had a burner
using red diesel, we supplied most of the golf clubs, from Fort William to Isle of Wight,
supplying rootzones, divot mixing to different ratios, also supplied most racecourses, &
football clubs, including Wembley at one time, Yorkshire cricket club at different grounds
they used with wicket dressing (Clay).
I would not put red diesel in my car.

Does anybody remember the mixtures people were using in diesel cars, paraffin mixed
with hydraulic oil etc, white van men were using it, once offered 45 gallon[205 litres] for
nothing to try it out, I declined.
The mixture was damaging the injectors, by getting very hot.

Wycombe Wanderers manager Gareth Ainsworth had to get on his bike,
to travel the 20 miles to a training session, due to fuel shortage.

Called at Morrisons petrol station at Cortonwood today, around 6 cars filling up with fuel,
some pumps not in use, some pumps have 2 diesel & one petrol filling line, one of the
diesel filling line locked up on each pump.
Perhaps using one sectioned tank at a time, then unlocking other fuel lines.

don't be tempted to use red diesel.
It's safe for modern cars . but might cost you more in the long run.,😁

I remember someone was advertising a diesel fiesta for sale, in the Rotherham Record,
They put Ford Fiesta 1800cc diesel car for sale, runs on red diesel.
