Derby County administrators made up to 20 non-playing staff redundant yesterday.

What gets me is the EFL chairman saying, he hopes everything can be sorted out this season,
so whats he advocating, holding the other 9 point deduction while next season, its stinks how
the EFL are bending over backwards for Derby County.

Can't remember the EFL bending over backwards to help us, but we couldn't afford the same Law firm like Derby can......

Can just imagine Derby being sold soon and wiping out the -12 and the EFL giving them the other 9 next season. That would make them more attractive to buyers. The price would be better for Morris but the new owners would be in the Championship with all it gives them...££££.......

It would seem that only Middlesbrough owner Gibson is actually mouthing off Derby County,
like I said in past posts, why doesn't he get other championship owners onside, to lay a
complaint to the EFL, tell them to pull their finger out.
Get a vote of no confidence in the EFL board, with the aid of fellow championship owners.

I've applied for the chief advisor's job...
Key points include taking ***** signs and reporting: "This one's good Wayne - she looks a bit dead but there's still a faint pulse".

    <> Update Derby County <>

Derby County are set to appoint a advisor to the clubs administrators, in the search for
a new buyer, its been reported.
It has been claimed that Paul Alridge, who previously worked for West Ham United,
Sheffield Wednesday, Bolton Wanderers, & French side Marseille, is set to join as an advisor.

Derby County administrators hoping to find a new owner, before the January transfer window,
if no buyer is found, it is claimed Alridge will help, should player sales be needed during the
    winter months.
The players will be paid this month, with the 9 points hanging for financial fair play rules
being broken, so don't want to have any more problems.
Derby County Chief Executive Stephen Pearce staying at the club, to work with the administrators.

Summary - To me keeping Pearce because he knows the ins & outs of the EFL, after resigning in
the summer, in the position of Director on the EFL board.

    <> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <>

<> New Company Registered at Companies House <>

A new company has been registered at company house, ' DCFC Licensing Limited ', a company
that is connected to the Derby County parent holding company, which was set up on the
23rd September 2021, a day after Derby County officially went into administration, & the
business is listed as " Licensed Restaurants " & the registered address is Pride Park Stadium.
Stephen Pearce Chief Executive of Derby County is named a director of the company, Pearce
who is working with Quantuma, the firm appointed as the Rams administrators by Mel Morris,
who are looking to sell the club.
The reason for the new company is because gambling & catering licences cannot be granted
to businesses, that are in administration.
The back yard, the coffee shop that replaced Starbucks at Pride Park is currently closed, but
    open on match day.
Betting kiosks at the club remain closed.
Administrators say there are plenty of interested parties, looking to buy the club.

Same thought here Avondalemiller - EFL waiting to see what transpires during the season.

If Derby County are 4th from bottom, escaping relegation by anything from 1 to 8 points, the EFL then defers the
-9 points to next season, so they stop in the championship.
But if Derby County are in bottom 3, will the EFL then give the -9 points, so would not make any difference.

EFL bending over backwards for Derby County.
