The act itself achieves nothing. By drawing attention to a problem it is better though.

Boyd is perfectly within his rights to think Griffiths is stupid enough to do something like that. The guy is at best very weird. Every game he plays will have opposition fans calling him out for it. There’s plenty tims disgusted by Griffiths behaviour and attitude who would comment on him. It seems like he’s a bad egg. Many of them think he is a complete fud and would not put it past him to do it. Many people just waiting for the next incident and wondering what he will be arrested for next. If he can avoid any further trouble he should consider dropping down the leagues and stay away from attention.

Please tell me then what purpose did it serve for Boyd to state that Griffiths kicked the ball at him directly at Tannadice and then literally say in the same sentence that having said that his back was turned, he was looking in completely the opposite direction and didn’t actually see Griffiths do anything. Yet, he says, despite that he knew it was Griffiths that did it. How does that work that exactly? It’s basically a statement that Fatty blatantly freely admits is based on no fact whatsoever and is infact a complete fabrication. And ‘newspapers’ allow this to be printed? I mean c’mon tae phuck.

You've not answered the question. We all know The Thumb is a fud, there's no doubting that but if he's a Hun then Boyd ain't writing that story.
