    AFC Wimbledon Post Match Thoughts

All's well that ends well? A poor start but a much better finish than Saturday. Anyone else already enjoying this season much better than last? Looking forward to another promotion and Championship relegation dog fight? Maybe we need to petition the EFL to form a 2.5th tier of football?

    Thoughts?

PS Looking forward to watching that Donny fan's Vlog tonight

Football is a funny old game. Played much better at the weekend but didn't take our chances however a pretty turgid affair tonight was decided by being clinical. Special mentions to Rathbone and Edmunds Green for me tonight, fingers crossed on the Lindsay injury.

Very competent performance. Crewe looked like posing a threat in the first 20 mins and doubts started to creep in, but we dealt really well with their movement by pressing hard and fast. Limited them to one very good chance.

The finishing was more clinical tonight, just as it should be. If Oggy could find a player with his crosses we could be the Man City of div 3.

Duracell Man continues to amaze. And Dan is looking more like the Man we hoped he would be.

    Happy tonight.

Well done lads, good solid professional performance.
    Can't fault anyone tonight.
What a difference a bit of good finishing makes. And we could and should have had more.
Great to see Grigg bag his goal, he looks well up for it.
Kayode showed Ladapo what he ought to be doing when coming off the bench, thought he did well.
How many goals will we get when Chio starts to find a red shirt.
Edmonds Green was much better than Saturday and yet again I can't believe how we've managed to sign Olly Rathbone, what a player.
All this despite the worst refereeing display we've seen this season.

Shout out to Barlaser who was excellent I’m the first half. Always available, excellent range of short and long passing and covered every blade of grass.

If Ogbene played the full game the same way he played the last ten minutes he’d play for Liverpool.

Edmunds Green alot better than Saturday. Wood did well. Strikers goal by Grigg. Got to sort left side of defence. Be tougher opponents than Wimbledon. Can't fault rest of the side.

Much more clinical tonight though we should have had more. Great goal by Grigg to set us off
I am confident this lad will get us goals with games. Smith played well and scored 2 nice goals but ought to have had more. They had no answer to ogbene who ought to have scored as well. Some good defending as well from ogbene. Barlaser v good game seems to haveadded bite as well to his passing game. Rathbone: oppostion players must hate playing against him. Fearless and always trying to be creative. Wood solid as ever and glad he got back up when he looked a bit polaxed. Won every header as usual in defence
Reg is growing on me, reads the game so well and the way he got back and stopped a certain goal in the first half was exquisite. The only weak link.was icky who gave the ball away in dangerous places and doesnt seem.to domibate the ball like he used to. Wiles a good cameo role and ought to have scored. But im a happy bunny toneet. Well done millers
