According to the club e-mail about it today, it seems that they’re intending compliance straight away, although the ambiguity of the ‘advice’ is almost worthy of those inarticulate, indecisive ****s in government themselves. The ****s.

“Ahead of Sunday’s match with Celtic at Pittodrie we can now share an update on the Scottish Government requirement to provide proof of vaccination.

The Scottish Government legislation which will come into effect from 1st October, and will be enforced from 18th October, means that every supporter attending matches at Pittodrie must be fully vaccinated and provide visual proof of vaccination to gain entry to the stadium, unless exempt.

On *matchday, spot checks will be carried out by stewards and AFC staff in line with Scottish Government guidance and all supporters must be prepared to provide proof of vaccination.

We are obliged to follow Scottish Government legislation and would like to thank supporters in advance for their co-operation and understanding.”
