Rooney has got them fighting hard in matches so this will not be easy.
We will do well to get the draw in this match but of course I’ll be delighted if we win.
It’s obvious we need to be more solid defensively after Mitrovic sliced through us with ease for his hat trick on Wed night for Fulham.
Round pegs in square holes, what do you expect with players playing out of position.
Let’s hope Martin picks a defence with players in their correct position this time.
Derby on Sat are a different proposition to Fulham, they don’t have a team full of Premiership players and they have just gone into administration with a 12 point penalty for doing so.
They don’t score many goals but they don’t concede many either.
They will be full of fight after that morale boosting win on Wed night when they beat an in form Reading side by the odd goal.
I expect a tough match, but aren’t they all in the Championship.
Rooney has got them fighting hard in matches so this will not be easy.
We will do well to get the draw in this match but of course I’ll be delighted if we win.
This is the team today, same back three as Fulham -
Swans: Hamer, Cabango, Naughton, Manning; Latibeaudiere, Downes, Grimes (c), Bidwell, Smith, Paterson, Piroe.
Substitutes: Benda, Fulton, Whittaker, Cullen, Laird, Walsh, Williams.
HT 0-0
Swans dominated the first half with 70% possession, but couldn’t score with two shots saved from Bidwell and Piroe.
Full time 0-0
Should have won this, we couldn’t score a goal again. Dominated first half, Derby came more into second half and could have won it when Tom Lockyer brought three successive saves from Hamer. The chances continued for the Swans but all wasted.
That should have been Tom Lawrence!

How good were Fulham and how bad were we. A yardstick, Fulham lost 4-1 at Coventry last Saturday.
Our target this season looks as if it will be avoiding relegation after the near success of the previous two seasons where we just missed out on promotion and a return to the PL.
Yes the football’s better on the eye, but it’s all about results and I don’t want to see us playing pretty football in League One.
Martin has got another two week International break to work on the team. I hope he uses that time to give the players some shooting practice. 15 shots in the Derby match, two on target, no goals!
