    Danny Mills...

Is he right to call out 2/3rds of the Premiership players who are not vaccinated to explain why not, when over 80% of the country are?

Yes. If players don't get vaccinated, there is a risk their clubs will lose them longer than they would if they weren't vaccinated. There is also a higher chance they will spread what they have to others in the squad which could lose us ground in the promotion race.

Unacceptable from lads in a privileged position over the last 18 months.

I’m surprised the companies that insure these players against injury illness etc etc aren’t demanding them to get jabbed

    No jab no pay out

He’s got a point. The majority in hospitals with Covid haven’t been jabbed. It’s irresponsible. But there’s no law against being stupid is there?

Being double jabbed doesn't prevent you spreading catching it or spreading it so players would still be out and for the same period anyway.
Lot's of footballers have caught it but none have died or even been seriously ill. The people it most effects are the old and vulnerable, the same as Flu which has miraculously disappeared for twelve months.
Covid, E10, the fuel crisis, empty shelves, passports...how long before the penny drops?

The death of a footballer from Covid is only a matter of time.

It’ll probably need that horror to make these muppets wake up.

The point isn’t around death or serious illness. There have been players suffer longer term, two at Newcastle and some NBA players out with long COVID. One isolation could be 4 games out at the wrong time.

The vaccine is proven to reduce transmission - it’s a fact. So having a squad vaccinated could be the difference between 1 player out to many players out. It can literally be the difference between promotion and no promotion.

Not sure what you mean about penny dropping. The societal issues you mention are all separate.

Exactly!!!! Good post Des! Does Zohore have long Covid?

It’s unlikely any footballers like kids will be ill as they are super fit! Almost all the deaths are from the elderly, vulnerable with illnesses and those who eat too many doughnuts!!

Those who are double jabbed are passing on Covid when they catch it as much as those not vaccinated!

It may be unlikely but you should read the account of triathlete Chris Silver who may add a different perspective

Everyone has a different perspective when they know personally of Covid deaths including young people. Conspiracy theorists have a lot to answer for.
