Batley up to 5th with a game in hand , great effort by the club because there's some bigger fish with bigger budgets in the championship .

All 3 Wakefield teams Trin, Cas & Fev received 2 million each.

Current state of the grounds of all 3 clubs is a disgrace and I have to say Trinity the worst.

Everyone I'm sure will remember when a touring Australian team played games against our clubs between or the build up to test matches against Great Britain .

I only ever saw one at Belle Vue against a touring Australian team was 30around 1990 .

We played really well that night and weren't disgraced by any means losing 36 - 18 .

Absolutely pyssed it down all night .

Adrian Shelford was in our line up that night who was a top player .

The games poorer for these games not taking place these days .

Wigan used to give the Aussies a harder game than GB did in the 80's in front of huge crowds at the old Central Park .

Latest idea getting aired from the RL hierarchy is to move to a two division 10 team system in 2024 .

The present tv deal with Sky ends at the end of 2023 apparently and they are apparently on board with this .

All twenty teams will be fully professional with a relegation and promotion system , possibly two up and two down .

There's no present talk of stadium requirements so if that's the case then I welcome the new structure .

Yess we've just snatched a late 18-16 win at home to Warrington.
But its only the good home form that is keeping Hull's season alive. When we keep losing away, it makes me think we're being coached/managed by a certain Mr Asbaghi. 😟

And Cass are now showing some form, which is annoying. Ive seen a few more orangey/amber coloured tops this past week, is that down to the warmer weather or Cass winning a few games!!. 😯
