It will be telling if Graeme Jones picks up a few points in the type of games Bruce didn’t earlier this season with the current squad. Even just playing the players we have in their correct positions surely has to be an improvement until things get sorted out.

That's a great point, that is often overlooked as so many of us want a new manager straight in.

I reckon we'll see Bruce out, Jones in as interim for a few games. Then new manager in for December to evaluate squad and make his calls on who he wants in Jan.

I think this DOF appointment is key, to be honest. I've already made this point at length in The Mag, but we're a club without an identity. Bringing someone in with a vision for us on the pitch is essential.

Rangnick would be a good appointment in terms of playing style, for sure. Michael Zorc would be fantastic, though I've no reason to think he'd leave Dortmund except that money talks! I'd be very happy with Arsene Wenger too, if he felt he had the years in him, and also Jurgen Klinsmann given his track record with overhauling youth team setups, but he's more of a punt.

Good article on Luis Campos who looks to be in the frame:

It is good - he looks like he could be a very good fit, and sounds like he'd be up for it as well.
