    Mowett injury.

Hope it's not serious. Can't afford to lose one of our best players for any length of time. Already lost O'Shea and Clarke, although he'll be back for next game. If Mowett is out for any length of time it will leave a big hole, as we're not blessed in that area.

Yep I agree .... he is main cog around which Val has organised the team. Don’t see anyone in the squad as an ideal replacement ..... we live in hope that it’s not serious. What was really annoying was that Allen didn’t even get booked and a few minutes later Stoke scored ....

Agree with all the comments. Whilst not the same calibre, I’m hoping that with Snodgrass’ return to fitness, we will see him replicate his original form, which showed good promise.

Probably bad; minor injuries and bruising is usually diagnosed quickly, more serious stuff takes time with all the scans etc. Hope I’m wrong.

We have generally done well in recent years with key players out. Good results when Pareira was injured for example. I don’t worry too much because of that. Mowatt is great but Snodgrass is a class act and I’m sure he would jump at the chance.

Haven’t heard anything official regarding the injury but a post on another forum reckons that Mowatt will be out for some weeks with a metatarsal injury. Bad news, if true.

I was told today that Mowatt has a broken metatarsal and will not play again this year, worrying news if true. Strange that the Club has made no statement on the matter. Anyone heard anything different?
