I'm always reminded by the early 1970's film " The Wicker Man " .
Early Edward Woodward who in the film had the opportunity to sh@g Britt Ekland but read his bible instead .
I've never worked out whether they burned Edward alive in the film at the end for his attempt to investigate and bring the cult to justice or the fact he didn't sh@g Britt when it was on a plate for him .
Either way it was fictitious .
