    Hibs v Dundee Utd

Porteous out after red card at the bigot dome.

Either Wood or McGregor will replace, think we might see a debut for Wood.

    I reckon team will be

    Macey

    McGinn Wood Hanlon Doig

    Newell Doyle-Hayes Magennis

    Allan

    Nisbet Boyle

2-0 to the Hibees i reckon.

I can understand your optimism Steve but United will give you a better game this time than we did in the League Cup.

    Well that was awful.

    Really, really dreadful.

    Dundee Utd were excellent.

The lack of depth outside our first 13 or 14 rearing it's head again.

Missing Doidge, Magennis, Hallberg, Mackie etc is too much for our squad.

Nowt on the bench to change it when it doesn't work..

My optimism had nothing to do with Dundee Utd's ability, wasn't a slight at United, it was to do with how good we have been.

When we play well, there's not many who can live with us.

    Ratings;

Macey - 6 - Not really much he could do.

Cadden - 6 - Was ok in flashes

Hanlon - 5 - Thought he was honking first ha;f, kept giving the ball away, improved but was still poor

Wood - 4 - Not convinced at all

Doig - 6 - Was the best of a poor defence, linked up well with Murphy.

Doyle-Hayes - 5 - First really poor game ive seen him have

Newell - 7 - One of our better players

Allan - 5 - poor. subbed at half time

Murphy - 6 - linked well with Doig, looked dangerous.

Nisbet - 5 - Starved of service, did hit the post once

Boyle - 6 - Some of the tackles on him were shocking, wasn't his best game, but he tried his arse off

    Subs:

Scott - 4 - Not impressed with him at all to be honest

Prior to the match I would have been happy with a draw as Hibs are nobodies mugs. I appreciate your sporting attitude especially after the match. All the best for the rest of the season (apart from when you play us of course).
