(Townsend considerably better in his favoured ‘wing back’ position)

Hopefully Molumby has demonstrated he warrants a start.

Agree on Molumby but who gets dropped? Livermore in my view but he won’t drop him!

Best to bring Snodgrass on when we are winning comfortably as he’s hit and miss now after injuries/absence.

I feel that Livermore seems to receive a lot of unwarrented criticism from a section of the Albion fans. There are many of this squad who are underperforming this season but it's always Livermore who they want out. He works hard and does a lot of solid work that goes unnoticed. Give him some slack. He is fully committed to the Albion cause and deserves our support.

All about opinions Leicester and yes he works hard but goes missing a lot and his ball winning is poor. Mowatt is twice the player! I can understand why Fat Sam didn't play him as Gallagher and Okay were much much better options.

I wouldn't single Livermore out though as this squad is the worst West Brom squad for years! Look at the side who lost to the Vile who went up against the one we have now! Sadly, there's not one of our players now who is a stand out Premier class player but you couldn't say that in previous seasons.

Giving some slack should be to Val who is doing a great job with a poor squad and we are top of the league! What do some expect with very average players!! Fulham have a squad with double the riches of ours and even they are not opening up a gap in the poorest championship for years!

I agree al, that this squad is not as good as the squad that lost to Villa in the play offs. Having said this, with the exception of Fulham, it's as good as most of the rest of the teams and therefore should be pushing for promotion. This is no criticism of Ismael because that is what we are doing. It'll be interesting to see what we do in the January transfer window. If, and notice the word if, we make two or three quality signings we should do it.

Put Mitrovic in our starting eleven and nobody would think the squad was poor for our current level.

What we lack is a central forward to link the moving parts, a replacement for Throwslong on the right and perhaps one more central midfielder.

The latter is questionable though as we rarely play through midfield. Would we if we had an alternative in central midfield?

Perhaps not so we come back to the central forward and a possible replacement on the right should nobody from the academy make a breakthrough.

The squad lacks a quality central forward option to start games regularly. That doesn't mean the rest of the squad is anywhere near as bad as some suggest on here.

As for centre back if it weren't for Dara O'Shea being on the treatment table I very much doubt one of Bartley or Ajayi would be starting regularly either.

Watching Fulham v QPR on Sky Fulham so much better on the ball man for man than we have , their football is pleasant on the eye not the garbage we churn out week after week , after saying that QPR play nicer football than we do ,

I’ll bet when Fulham lost those couple of matches and played bad some of their fans said the same about us when we tore Cardiff apart. It’s a long season.

Totally agree Boingy!! The Fulham squad is made up of riches compared to our squad too!

Still say the majority of matches have been more exciting than what we have seen for years!!

I expect West Brom, Bournemouth and Fulham to be there or thereabouts at the end. We just have to be picking up the points. We are second best at that as we speak so who knows 🤷*♂️
