    Was just going to post the same Cayton. Waiting at the lights on the lower deck of the viaduct is like being on a space hopper.

    Around here we have a couple of mile long floating bridges across a glacial finger lake. Now they move in a 50mph wind We (the place I work) are putting commuter rail across one of the bridges (the first in the world to do this). Main problem are the ends where the floating bits are connected to fixed land and have to deal with 3 directional motion. Not really a problem for cars crossing such points but a different kettle of fish for electrified trains up to 400' in length weighing a few hundred tons.

    The Marinha Bay Sands hotel in Singapore won't play a certain selections of records up on the top bit that overhangs. The Macarena is deffo no go........it's like the troops marching over a bridge, BREAK step.....lol

    I would like to be able to stand again at football matches, it gets bloody cold sat in winter.
