One match stadium ban for England

So because the police/ security couldn’t do their job the genuine fans have got to suffer
Let’s hope it’s woke them up and they’ll do a better job in hiring and getting enough staff in future

    Get enough staff?

Or get a police force that actually does something beyond standing there looking like an out of work paramilitary parachutist

....and don't forget the episode vs Hungary where they had clearly lost control against a handful of hooligans
Met Police again or is it the Keystone Cops

They should just kick us out of the next World Cup and save everyone the angst we go through every 4 years, not to mention the hideous sight of sweaty, shirtless, bright red, overweight, drunken fans we'll no doubt see in Qatar (maybe not the drunken bit but I'm sure they'll find a way).

Actually I got that wrong, apparently it’s not a Police Force anymore it’s now a “ Police Service” because it sounds “better”

Why blame the police and security? Surely it's down to the large number of idiots who can't hold their beer?

Well if everybody in the world wasn't an idiot, could hold their beer and had no intent of breaking the law then we wouldn't need a police force/service/troop at all. Unfortunately police/security are needed and they are paid fairly well to do a job of safeguarding the law abiding amongst us, not very well in this case so maybe there weren't enough of them or planning was inadequate?
