This year the final date for the 1921 accounts to be filed at Companies House before a Late Payment fee applied was at the end of June. The accounts were filed shortly before that date, as usual. A significant point about the auditors signing off the accounts and declaring the company to be a 'going concern' is relevent here.

The auditors will only sign off the 'going concern' aspect if they receive 'Letters Of Comfort' from both Purepay and Pioneer. The text of a 'Letter Of Comfort' must make it clear that the creditor will not ask for the debt to be repaid within a specified period of time, detailed in such a letter. Letters Of Comfort must be for a minimum of 12 months beginning at the date that the auditors intend to sign off the accounts for the previous year.

Presumably both the Purepay and Pioneer Letters Of Comfort are for 12 months, the current ones running from late June 2021 to late June 2022.

The gist of this is that the earliest time that either Purepay or Pioneer can demand repayment of their debts is late June 2022.
