Motherwell set to move for Bohemians' Ross Tierney

According to RTE we have our sights on the 20 year old Bohemians' player for a January "swoop". A three year contract is what they believe.

Sounds promising but for every Jamie McGrath which comes to Scotland from Ireland there are a lot more Trever Molloys...

Got to ask .. will we ever see him play ?
We need players who can make immediate impact NOW and not like the many before ... release before plays.

And Paul Keegans….and Danny Murphys. To think we had those three at the same time is shuddering.

It’s always a gamble signing players from a ‘lesser’ league but as with any signing we make we need to hope the gamble

I always thought Murphy was slightly harshly treated by being lumped in with the other pair. He wasn't very good, sure, but Molloy and Keegan in particular must be up there as among the worst we've ever signed.

    Keegan !! One-nil !

That's what I prefer to remember; spoken from the dulcet tones of the bold David Coleman back in the day ...
