These toon goons need to take a long look in the mirror and realise the only decent players in the current squad were recruited by Bruce and not Rafa. They are so desperate for success they are willing to suck up to people who will literally butcher their critics. The career girl Amanda would under normal circumstances be walking five paces behind her bosses and wearing a face covering which in her case it would help.
The luscious Amanda would now be allowed to drive a car in Saudi, which my nephew's wife wasn't allowed to do last time she went home, her brother had to pick her up at the airport. That's today's Saudi Arabia for you, what more could a woman want in a modern, progressive society ?

I feel sorry for him. He has always struck me as an honourable person. I hope that he leaves with his head held high. He stuck to the task despite some of the supporters and the ownership constraints. It will be interesting to see how the new owners get around the “financial fair play” rules.

Face it sinkov, the only Mecca we are getting in Burnley is a ballroom.

I don’t think they can get around it Swiss I believe they have to build up to
Increasing spend etc and wages by creating more revenue legally , unlike when Chelsea did it initially etc a few years back .

So I reckon it will take them at least 3/4 years before they can balance the FFP and monies in and out - but who knows ? Just how I read it !

Shows clearly the real point of FFP, not to provide a level playing field as they pretended, but to make sure there were no challengers to the top clubs, to make sure they could continue to dominate at the top of their leagues and in Europe. They were raking in the big money and FFP meant that was the way it would stay, no Jack Walkers or murderous Arabian sheiks muscling in and climbing aboard their gravy train.

I agree army, unless they play the game of tying up officialdom with legions of lawyers whilst they get on with spending the billions. I read that the PL is only now thinking of banning sponsorship deals with your own owners. If that does not go through it will be easy for the Saudis to “sponsor” the club for £1 billion a year in a shirt deal. After all, it will not be a betting company, just a sponsor who maims and kills - so that is alright then.
