    Kit Colours for Saturday

    From the DUFC website....

We look forward to welcoming Motherwell to Tannadice on Saturday and due to the unusual kit clash between our home kit and both of Motherwell’s outfield kit options, the clubs have agreed to both wear their away kits at every game between the teams this season – irrespective of venue.

United will take to the field in our white kit with our goalkeeper wearing the familiar mint green. Motherwell will wear their away all-black kit with their goalkeeper wearing Sky Blue.

Wouldn't be necessary if we had a classy white-based change strip instead of the "Livi-inspired" one. By the way, why do so many clubs (us included) not give the full club badge on the change strip, but still charge full price. If I want to buy a change strip, I would still want the full official badge on it, not a monochrome approximation. Just saying....

Because when they produced new kits at the rate they do, they need all kinds of tweaks to keep things interesting or different. The full badge will no doubt be back again soon enough.
