Violence And Abuse Towards Hospital Staff!

What on earth is wrong with people these days.

It seems there’s an epidemic of this behaviour according to Channel 4 News tonight.

An immediate custodial sentence is the order of the day for such animals.

People kicking, punching and spitting at doctors and nurses FFS.

Abhorrent behaviour, our country really is going down the pan.

    Shameful in the extreme.

The reasons for this type of behaviour is because we are too soft. We have too many 'do gooders' who excuse this type of behaviour. Instead of punishing miscreants we are encouraged to 'understand' them. Too many in this country think that they can behave as they wish. Unfortunately, they can!

I've said on here before that the whole lockdown/pandemic thing has bought out the worst in too many of the Great British Public with a significant rise in both physical and verbal abuse against not only NHS staff but retail and hospitality workers in particular. Don't know if it is generational but too many have an exaggerated sense of entitlement which leads them to act like selfish tossers who probably do need a snack in the face as illustrated.

Civilisation is going down the pan. I believe humanity probably reached it's peak in the 1950's.

Good points. I think this self entitlement thing is spread across generations IMO. I was visiting a mate who lives nearby who owns 6 acres of fenced off fields with live stock in. Whilst we were in one of his fields 2 adults and their kids climbed over the fence and casually walked across the field totally ignoring a large no trespassing sign. When he told them it was private land their response was they weren't doing any harm. We eventually 'persuaded' the bloke to leave which later resulted in him complaining to the police he'd been threatened despite trespass being illegal. I hear a lot of stories like this where I live where landowners have a lot of sh*t to put up with from people who refuse to stick to public footpaths and feel they can do whatever they want when they want.
