    My Favourite 70s QPR Players

I used to live just round the corner from the stadium back then and saw many of the old 'greats' play.

I was there with my mate on Saturday 24th April 1976 along with 31,000 others to see QPR beat Leeds 2-0 as and top the table only for Liverpool to beat Wolves 3-1 at Molineux ten days later and win the title.

Unsurprisingly, my two favourite QPR players are from that terrific team as follows:

Phil Parkes (who moved to us for £565,000 in 1979) and Stan 'the Man' Bowles.

Who are your favourites and why?
