    How many players....

have come out in support of Bruce after his sacking? I know The Saint was full of praise for him but i'm not aware of any others speaking out on social media etc?

If he's such a great manager wouldn't this happen with the platforms the players now have?

I think it was on SkySports that they said most the team are relieved he's gone...

Even ASM was praising Bruce for helping him settle, being straight with him etc. and obviously genuinely liked the bloke but didn’t really praise his managerial abilities, tactical genius, pioneering training sections etc. etc. - the sort of stuff a decent manager would be good at.

I would imagine the majority of the players, if not all, are relieved that he's gone and the prospect of a top manager/coach preparing them and controlling the game will be exiting the players just as much as the fans.

Win, draw, or lose the next match the players' attitude and the fight they put up will show this.

I think they will be in for a shock, A decent manager will come in and they will be training everyday.

I actually think they'll like that. They can't enjoy being so shit and so far off the pace.

Yep - the players will benefit from some structure rather than the haphazard approach by that bloke I can’t even bring myself to mention his name any more

ASM didn't really praise him as a manage though, just as a person.

Otherwise, nobody has supported him that I'm aware of.

Lots of journos saying how the players all loved him etc. but nothing concrete that ive seen.

Depends on which journo you read and what their agenda or angle is.

According to some, the majority of players wanted him gone.
