    Well after seeing the first half bore fest served up by these two teams, the second half came to life and Barnsley and Sheffield United started to play some decent football and with the Blades building a commanding 3-0 lead, Barnsley finally woke up and in the end it was the Blades who were hanging on a bit as Barnsley had pulled two goals back. Final score Barnsley 2 Blades 3.

    They’ve been suggesting Warne or Ryan Lowe would be a good fit.

    Tossers

    I find it hard to imagine PW being manager at any other club than ours.

    Lowe is a good shout for them though, Arthur that is.

    There's a thread specifically about Paul Warne on the truffle diggers forum now. Some bloke met Paul Warne at Tickhill once and, according to him, absolutely if they wanted Warne then they could have him.

    What a set of delusional, emotionally retarded bog woppits!

    Dictionary Definition:

    "Envy";

    a feeling of discontented or resentful longing aroused by someone else's possessions, qualities, or luck.

    verb
    desire to have a quality, possession, or other desirable thing belonging to (someone else).

    They not bothered about Tuchell then? How could he say no to a third division club that have won the league one play off final in the last 30 years with a decaying stadium, crippling debt, transfer ban and an unpaid window cleaner away from administration??

    I've always believed that their "massive" fan base is the root cause of their perennial under achieving.

    Over those last 30 years where we've established their biggest achievement is the League One play off Final, they've had numerous different owners, managers, coaching set ups. The one constant is the level of toxicity in their fan base. It's been said so many times about decent players and managers going there with good reputations and stagnating to the point of leaving almost unemployable. But miraculously many go on to do well elsewhere.

    I have a few friends who suffer supporting SWFC and they are open and honest enough to admit that the expectations of their fan base is destroys confidence in their players. The first mistake a player makes on the pitch, that's it, the massive turn on them. The first bad result a manager has they become like a pack of rabid hyenas chasing injured prey.

    They need to accept once and for all that no team has a right to stay in the top leagues because they are a "big" club (I'm pretty sure I once heard one of their fans say exactly this on a phone in although it could have been a wind up.) 40k capacity in the ground and winning the Rumbelows Cup when Bullseye was still on prime time TV would not be credentials to get them into that league anyway.
