Not seen a team dive that much for a long while at Meadow Lane, possibly since we played Southampton and they had that striker/winger with a bandaged hand, probably from going down so often but I can't remember his name.
Barnard or Lambert, I thought Barnard?

Good one! It seems to be part of the game nowadays, but I dread the day we employ a specialist 'diving coach'. All teams (us included) seem to try and con the ref, but Stockport were a bit worse than most. Quigley seemed a master of the dark arts, but their no. 27 Crankshaw was probably the main offender. He went down theatrically at the slightest touch, but the ref did ok at spotting it for the most part. A term I loathe is 'game management', because basically it's all about time wasting and cheating. Maybe it's an age thing and diving and cheating is now seen as part of the game. I just can't imagine Brian Stubbs feigning injury, even if someone hurt him the last thing he would do is to go down injured, he would just play on and remember it for his next tackle!

Lincoln were well practised in the art of feigning injuries, so the rest of the team could go and get instructions off the Cowleys

I don't dislike other people doing it, I just would never spend my Saturday night reading comments about how Mansfield are struggling at left back or how the keeper needs replacing cos he doesn't command his area. I don't care. I check there score, I hope they lose and that's it for me.

As for Elite I took the p!as out of his "5 mins" comments even you as his best buddy on here know that's laughable. You know better than most thanks to version 1.0.

As I said it's each to their own. If you insist on discussing this further can I suggest we take this to version 2.0.
So if it doesnt bother you or you dont dislike it why do you post about it so much? Very strange.!
Theres no need to go handbags as this is on topic as the thread is about comments from other fans forums like I say one of your many specialities.xxxxxx

I find it interesting getting a perspective from an opposition fans view of their favoured team and it current fortunes and also what their thoughts and views are about NCFC as their opponents .

I agree entirely and I am not having a go at Laddo but I fail to see any sense in his ramblings on this topic. Its an individual choice ultimately. Each to their own.

I do this also and agree. Forums are a mixed bag, facebook and twitter tend to be fertiliser bag.

So too were Leeds. I don't suppose many posters on here can remember the Leeds team of the '70s. Coached by Don Revie in the art of flying through the air after an opposition came within two yards of their player, agonised rolling, crowding the ref and linesmen, appealing every free kick and throw-in, there was even talk of bribery. So successful were Revie's "game management" "tactics" that they fooled even the FA into giving him the England manager's job.
