    Manager role

We seem to have got an agreement with Fonseca and he seems to be willing.

However, we also seem to want Overmars as the DoF, and he wants to bring Ten Haag with him - which i'd be happy with, good to have DoF and Manager on same page.

However, again, Ten Haag is playing it quite coy as he in the main, although both as well, have been linked with Man Utd, when, if, Ole is sacked.

Now, does this have the big chance to burn us and miss out on both? Or is this just good business and something we're not use to.

Either way - hello ambition my old friend

Exactly, Jammy. It's just nice to be able to have these sorts of conversations.

The DoF + Head coach role is the way it’s done in many clubs around Europe now. As opposed to one manager being in charge of recruiting and coaching simultaneously.

think it would be a wise, progressive move if the right people are hired.

An Overmars + Fonseca cocktail would be intriguing!

I am basking in new found hope. Rome wasn’t built in a day . Avoid relegation will do for me this season - lots of work needs to be done behind the scenes before we can get excited on the pitch.
The people brought in now, on and off the pitch, will probably not be here when we get to where we want to be.

Aye, avoid relegation this season and win the quadruple next season will do
