It would be a massive 3 points for us Saturday if Lincoln win tonight.

    Low scoring game…just a 3 point field goal and a 2 point safety..😜

It's a good competition this and a great idea to have prem second XI teams in it.
Why people complain about it baffles me

Thanks for the goal scoring practice and confidence boost

Few decent displays from the youngsters hull looks better every time I see him play. Pretty quick for a tall lad, a fiture star for the millers.
Gratton had a steady game. Working well down the right side.
Durose had a torrid time and the quick footed man city midfielders had chasing shadows at times. Wasn't helped by the early booking.
JJ worked hard but needs to bully the defenders. Shame we didn't have the luxury of loaning him out for 6 month to develope him a bit more.

Man city matched us first half. It looked like they don't shoot until 2 yards out. First half Out of possesion, they pressed really well. All comfortable on the ball...

Tin pot or not. Its good to see the future

It's all about development though and getting used to that style of play for the future, Guardiola will be happy with the possession and the performance.

Hard to judge against this type of opposition (fast skilful but no cutting edge) but Hull is a hell of a prospect Heard about the lad that came on as sub McGukin (spelling?) he’s a striker but seemed to be playing wide right played well when he came on
Personally don’t like what this competition has become however 15 goals in 3 games is not to be sneezed at and will breed confidence
Great to see our back up players doing a good job Odoffin dropped into middle of back 3 from midfield when Woody went off with T and Hull either side and did ok
Like the confidence of Sadlier missed 2 absolute sitters but still had the confidence to stick away the penalty and a harder chance before his classy curl over the wall

Young Warne getting booked, some great action in the second half.

There’s goals everywhere in this team

Yeah a good result, doesn't matter how much of the ball you have, if you can't stick it the net then it's no good. Man City wasted many chances. A lot of times they left us chasing shadows when they were playing little triangles to get up the pitch. Half time they took the big guy off and started to play thro balls and were quite good, but couldn't finish.

It's always good to win and Sadlier scoring 3, the free kick was special. Unfortunetly he fails in the 1st team. Good pressing game which they couldn't cope with. Good crowd of 1908 (120) enjoyed it.............
........now on to the real business on Saturday.....well done Lincoln.
