    Kyle Cameron

Our captain has made me respect the NL a lot more. That was what we were up against when we played Torquay in the play-off semi...I would've seen him and thought he was a limited non-league clogger and I couldn't have been more wrong. There's probably FL level gems like him scattered across the league. Hope our Recruitment team can get a few more of them to our club.

Yeah, wasn't it Hall and Moxey they had at the back that day? Two other very solid performers for this level, but Cameron could end up having a better career than both of them if it all works out.

Our only defeats have coincided with him not being in the side.

It looks Torquay they have fallen to pieces without him. An excellent signing. He is certainly already one of those players you worry about if he is injured as any replacement won't be as good.

Posts on other threads touching on the value of Ruben, rightly so. But, Cameron must be worth a few quid.

Touched on this during the recruitment thread but it’s hard to name multiple players from the last couple of decades worth more when leaving Notts (either fee or earning potential) than when they joined, so several at once has to be a positive? The exception to this of course would be if we could 4 more matty palmers but likes of Ruben, Cal, the Kyles and Vinnie will do for me. The trick now has to be maintaining the net number of these assets in the squad over an extended period which should then aid the clubs long term progression.

Absolutely. A signing that immediately becomes one of the best players in the team - exactly what the fans were hoping and calling for

Notts did incredibly well to secure Cameron’s services. From identifying him, IB selling the club to him etc.

If you look at Wrexham and the signings they’ve made in the CB position. The standout being Tozer(?) for a substantial fee. There are others.

Would we say he's the early front runner in the Player of the Year race?

Palmer and Rodrigues would be up there too
