Yep...it’s a surprise. They were so convincing on the way back up and they have kept a more than very decent manager.

As for tier three. You’re right...it’s not that bad. I grew up watching Third Division football and have many happy memories.
Tricky’s right...we will be a ‘scalp’ down there but that’s something that all ambitious sides always have to deal with.
I still hope to avoid relegation but I don’t fear it...what I do fear is relegation and a further points penalty to handicap next season’s fight back.

I am hoping the administrators do their job and resolve all issues before then! I can't see a takeover until all such issues have been resolved, would you invest millions unless that was the case/

Also I can't believe the EFl don't want this matter put to bed, its not in their interests to se Derby go under, so I'm confident that all such matters will be finalised long before the end of the season and hopefully before the end of this year.

I left for NL part way into the 84/85 season and was at all the opening games right up and including to the Millwall away game. Good fun home and away although Cold Blow Lane was a bit hairy at times. Bournemouth away 1st game of the season there were more of us in the ground than there were home fans. There was a lot of banter pre game with a rather attractive WPC who, when the almost inevitable in those days, chant of "get ta t*ts out for the lads" started up she laughed heartily.

On the way back to the car we found a lone B'mouth fan, spark out on the floor. One of the lads went to the nearest house and got them to phone the cops, I tended to the lad, checked he was alive and set him in the "safe" position. Police and ambulance arrived, took our story and off we went. Never did find out if the lad was OK.

Wrexham and Grimsby were the two ‘hairiest’ places I followed a Division Three side to, MA.

Look at them now! Hope, if we do go down, we seek to emulate Bournemouth rather than the other two.

    I doubt it.
I was struggling with it on the weekend as it's been enjoyable seeing Leeds being so ****.
