Not much no, but his point still stands with regards folk saying we could've done with Butcher. We need goals, and the Butcher/Harkes combo has been proven time & again not to provide them. So I'm not sure he'd have made much difference.

I think Motherwell steamrolled our midfield for the first half hour or so, just don't think that would have happened. We'll never know of course.

Yes thanks and apologies. I did mean 400 minutes not hours. The point was we have played very little football when Butcher has been in the side. The idea that Butcher was one of the missing links from the Motherwell game has not been borne out by performances this season. Fuchs and Levitt on the other hand have provided dynamism in midfield and made a difference. They actually help to get more out of Harkes and Pawlett due to Fuchs ball winning and Levitt's playmaking.

Lucky lucky boy,only seen it in real time but i thought it was a straight red.To be fair to Calum at least he put an FN tackle in others deserve their own threads for letting Rogic dance through them like a bunch O f annies.

After that powder puff performance against Celtic yesterday I feel confident Butcher will be starting against Livi to give us more bite in midfield - So how about a sweep to determine when he will get his first yellow or red card, I'll start with my choice- first yellow 25-30 mins. 2nd 65-70 mins. If it is a straight red then 75-80 mins. With us holding on to a 1-0 win for the last 10. 👍

If he starts, which I think he will, he'll get a yellow but not a red. He's fairly disciplined when on a yellow tbf to him.

Maybe Tam can give him a yellow card in the warm up so he is disciplined for the whole 90 mins. 😃
