Seems Gerrard is the bookies favourite at the minute.

Zidane has previously said he would not coach or play in England Bongo. I just hope the board have a proper plan in place, otherwise as stated its going to get rocky pretty quick, Smithy has had a lot of leeway with us because we recognise him as one of us, no one incoming is going to get much more than the rest of the season to prove themselves IMHO. I would like to see an experienced man/women come in above Mark Delaney stability for now and show him the ropes for future continuity, probably a 2-3 season project I would think, this would gel with the boards sustainability ethos (if thats really what they are about) . I dont want someone who has only been successful when they have a whole country to select from, they need to have done it at club level, and preferably recently, and maybe looking for one more proper job before they pack it in, and no I dont mean Bruce or any of the other dinosaurs!!

Shame about Zidane. Im sure they have someone in mind prior to the sacking. Best be bloody good or whats was the point sacking Deano. I have a funny feeling it will be Gerrard.

Any chance Purslow can say he made a mistake and invite Deano back knowing, the public outcry!

I really hope Purslow et al know what they’re doing and this isn’t some Villaesqe cockup of old.

Deano to take over at Norwich and keep them up while we get relegated under the ill conceived management of a Euro coach. Oh the irony!

No, they’ve got a plan (he said with every finger crossed).

When we signed Danny Ings absolutely NOBODY saw it coming. I believe the appointment of the Head coach will be the same.

I am therefore predicting we get Andre Villas Boas and he will be epic for us

Joachim Low hasn't really been mentioned either, Sam. We wouldn't be that cloak and dagger, would we?
