Tuchel and Klopp - no class, at all

Following last weekends results, Mr Tuchel comes out and says we were lucky, we didn’t deserve the draw, instead of giving us a tiny bit of credit for earning the point. Then you have the shell suited Wonder trying to blame the referee for a foul on his goalkeeper just before the ball went in. Why can’t these so called Elite Managers just accept that their teams weren’t good enough on the day ? About time they learned to be a bit more gracious, when things don’t go their way, instead of taking the easy way out.

    Bob on that Mal

I really don’t understand there stance tbh , if your flying high top of the league with endless player riches at your disposal and you come up against a stubborn side ( us ) who ride their luck a bit but continue to try, and eventually get some reward it’s the so called elites club to find a way of winning , not our fault for offering resistance .

We’ve all played in games like that against teams from a lower tier ( county cup etc ) and being held or knocked out - it shouldn’t happen but it does - just used to shake their hands and wish em luck next round from my experience.

I suppose when the money goes from £50 a week to 150,000 quid a week maybe it’s stings a bit more if you just don’t get your own way every week.

Pep Guardiola is a class act, the two moaning, whining Krauts are not.

They need to learn the word "dignity"; perhaps they could be schooled for half a day by Sean Dyche?

The whining scouse German was right about Cresswell, he should have been off, but it wasn't even given as a free-kick, a bizarre decision. There was no foul on Alisson, he came for a ball he had little chance of getting and ran into the back of the WHU player, who was completely unaware that Alisson was in the vicinity. Still, being half right is good going for Klopp on a rant, credit where it's due.

Neither manager covered themselves in glory, but TV interviews are generally well-constructed messages designed to console or inspire their players and the their fans - in this case console the fans.
They have contractually-binding media obligations so they are media-trained to the nth degree and and very few of them trot out anything other than the marketing message targeted at their internal and external stakeholders - usually some bland ****e.
Can't remember the last time I saw a postmatch interview where I could believe the interviewee said what they actually thought.
Makes you wonder why they even bother.

What they actually say to their players behind the scenes we'll never know, but I'd bet it's a damn sight different from the pap they feed the media.

Thomas Tuchel was happy after Chelsea’s 1-1 draw today with Manchester United. A game they totally dominated just as they did when they played Burnley in their last PL home game. Against lucky, lucky Burnley they managed 25 shots but could only offer a paltry 24 against the Red Devils. United scored from a hoofed clearance that Jorginho miscontrolled leading to a breakaway goal by Sancho. But Tuchel was happy. Lucky, lucky Burnley on the other hand could only craft a neat equaliser when Westwood’s clever cross was deftly headed back across goal by Rodriguez for Vydra to slot home. Spot the difference anyone?

Roughly translated :- I am happy to have Manchester United playing in the Premier League and as an opponent, however, I certainly don't want teams such as Burnley playing in the Premier League because they will not stand off our stars and let them play.
Compare today Chelsea 24 shots, 6 on target. Man United 3 shots, 2 on target. Chelsea 13 fouls Man United 14 fouls committed.
Burnley game Chelsea 25 shots, 4 on target. Burnley 5 shots, 2 on target. Chelsea 6 fouls Burnley 9 fouls committed.
Possession today Chelsea 66% Man United 34%. Chelsea 70% Burnley 30%.

It's a hard life managing multi millionaires.

Tuchel after the 3-0 thumping at Leeds claiming Chelsea were the better team. Classless manager when he was up against Burnley. Classless now.
