I've slept since then but I can't recall Nketiah setting the world on fire when he was on loan with us?

sure wish we'll give Gelhard a shot for one game before signing an Arsenal reject.

He scored some very important goals for us and then got the most injury - would love to see him as an option with his searing pace

Eddie considering amount of game time, did ok, but would much prefer us to use / manage Gelhardt/Greenwood & co.
With Bamford still out, with what appears to be quite a bad, longish term injury, and also the fear that it could flare up again, once back into full training etc, we need a more focal point type striker, who can hold & bring others into play.

If you can watch this week’s highlights of u23

Alfie Gray aged 15 looks to have inherited some of Eddie and Frankie’s footballing genes - run at the end - pace and balance - looks like he is going to be a big lad too - happy days

Oh and the Max Dean finish wasn’t half bad too

It's Archie Gray, son of former Leeds forward and u18's. Great to see him in travelling squad for last Sunday and already debuted at all levels except 1st team, hmm so Bielsa doesn't encourage youth!

So many players from the u23s played this season okay some made their debuts last year or before but

    Meslier

Drameh Struijk Cresswell McCarron (sure he played in the cup)

Phillips (bit of a cheat but technically yes)

    Summerville Greenwood Shackleton McInstrey

Yeah, he encourages them heaps once half his squad is out fd from his murder ball sessions lol.

Think we have a pretty good reputation under Bielsa of promoting youth when it is ready.

Look at Poveda, Struijk, Davies, Shackleton, Meslier and Roberts from recent seasons. Of course when we have injuries more get a chance but if they grab the opportunity then he plays them when he can.

Not sure any of the injuries sustained this year were from murderball - all from
    Injuries in games or illness.

Not sure what more the club is supposed to do beyond developing our own talent (Phillips, Gray, Shackleton, Cressell) or recruiting quality talent and developing it in other cases.

We had 16 years out of the top flight and only remotely looked like making it back when Bielsa and Radz were in place.

We bemoan clubs for buying success and yet when we do it is a sustainable different way the barbs fly if there isn’t instant gratification.

We are truly privileged to have one of the most unique and well regarded coaches of the last 35 years. He does things his way and won’t change now so you may as well try to enjoy the ride as at times when on song and we get it right the football is a joy to behold.
