We were second best for most of the game and only really started to play after we scored. Our midfield is poor and Cochrane plus Todd must wonder what they’re doing wrong to not get a start. We also need a midfield enforcer during the January transfer window.

AJ will be lucky to see Christmas with Queens. His overall record is terrible

Totally agree as the midfield was posted missing for the majority of the match allowing their players to waltze through unopposed. We carried little in the way of a goal threat while Cameron was the sole isolated striker until changes were made. It was apparently AJ's 100th game in charge in his second period with Queens and I do wonder what his record is during this period?

I have just looked up AJ's managerial record on Wikipedia and in his first spell with Queens he had a very impressive win record of nearly 75%, he then jumped ship to go to Kilmarnock where it fell to a lamentable just over 30%-sacked before he turned up at Dunfermline where his record improved to a more credible just below 50%-sacked, whereas his current record with Queens is back to his worst at just over 30% once more. The writing is on the wall.

That truly is lamentable. Yet he he is still here for the foreseeable future. Surely the directors can see what's going on and get rid. Otherwise we can boo the team off against East Fife and Clyde etc next season!

Time Billy H and the board react before its to late and we go out the cup next week, Queens will prob sit bottom of the league at 5pm tonight....
Wouldn't be against bringing Dobbie back as manager if he was interested with an experienced no2.
He doesn't seem to be getting much game time at Fylde. This would Hopefully get a good reaction from the players and sure the fans would love to see him back. Sure his man management skills are far better than Johnstons and would get the best out of the current the squad.
We have the players but the current manager either doesn't want to play them or play them out if position..
Please make next week's trip to Cove a little more appealing. 🤞

Following the very creditable performances against Raith and Arbroath, Queens were lamentable on Friday night and the 1-2 scoreline flattered them.

As one would expect, there was very little comment when we not only took a point from both Raith and the surprise package of the year Arbroath, - but more than competed against them, - however, as soon as we have a bad game, - the knives are out.

As mentioned though, the fans would be far more forgiving if there were more points on the board, and it is essential that Johnston starts winning, beginning with Cove Rangers on Saturday, - which could be his nemesis, as Queens cannot afford (literally) to be knocked out of the Scottish Cup by a team from a lower league before the end of November and be sitting at the bottom of the league.

Friday's performance was abysmal and there was none of the bad luck in front of goal that we have seen in recent games, because there were very few chances created, and that for me was the most worrying aspect of Queens game on Friday.

Provided we beat Cove Rangers, - I would still give Johnston until the 18th of December to stick some much needed points on the board, - but time is now running out for him, and his arrogance towards the supporters is what I detest the most, suggesting he is not interested in what the life blood of the club say on social media! Well I'm sorry sir, - but we the supporters do care about Queen of the South, - even if you don't and we cannot permit one man to destroy a club, like Ole is doing at Man Utd.

A total change of attitude is required me thinks because the statistics don't lie and if the other teams in the bottom group of five start winning we could be adrift pretty quickly. Equally, by 5pm on Saturday the 18th Johnston could be taking his coat off the shoogly peg, but only if he becomes a little more humble and realises that Queen of the South is much bigger than Alan Johnston will ever be.
