My huge concern with relegation is what the prem will push through whilst we're not in the league to argue etc.

They'll push it through 19v1 regardless. They've already set that precedent. The only way to try to prevent further biased actions is in the courts.

There is another $2 billion heading the way of the Premier League from the US and we've got to be in and amongst that.

Like you said, it's not the end of the world if we go down but we can't be going down. Faced with one year in Purgatory or working our arses off to bridge a 10pt gap (by end of Christmas), we've got to chase the latter. Our January spending will have a lot to play in that.

In the recent past, we always roll over when the other team scores two goals. Jolo actually looked like a half-decent goal threat yesterday and Howe has already shouted at him enough over the last week to be more alive. So assuming that we can get our act together going forward, Howe's weakness and our weakness has always been at the back. Hopefully, Brooce hasn't detrained everything that Rafa taught them and a couple of signings in the back line will shore it up. Because we can't rely on who's currently there to keep us up for the rest of the season.

We've got to score more goals to stay up. That's a given. But the bigger challenge it's to stop hanging arses out the window with silly mistakes and running out of puff in the final 15, when so many teams are scoring now.
