    Central defense

OK after recent well played matches by Graham where basic, simple and effective defending was used. Do you think there should be a rush back to bringing Gallacher and Holt into the backline.

It seems to me that their absence allowed the ball to be played faster and more effective meaning the team was facing up the park and not towards their own goal....

Graham has also done it in the premiership already...

Be interesting to see if we stick with a back 4 to be honest. Think we lack pace at the back at top level. Don't want us chopping and changing it tho like last time.

Tbf, Holt is a decent passer, made a few goals with long passes. Gallagher is a lot slower out from the back.

He was excellent at times in a three with Edwards and Butcher second half of 2021/22

I am not against any of the 4 centre backs that played for us this season being kept on. However i believe McClelland is wanted back home so i have my doubts, but Holt and Graham i think have earned new deals, and Gallagher is here on a 2 year deal i believe. Gallagher and Graham are the starters with Holt plus a new RCB as back up unless we can entice McClelland to move, then there is a decision to be made!
