I know it's stating the obvious but we're going down. This is clear for all to see following this season's mountain of soulless performances of which yesterday was yet another blatent example. Blame it on injuries if you like, but the truth is the defence is abnormally static and the attack, like the marking, totally inexistant. We need a leader, not a rudderless boat; someone who can at least instill a bit of urgency into players who rarely show any sign of appetite for the game, and this, week in week out since the beginning of the season...
