He should be grateful. He had a good run for his money. Not the best paid by other Prem standards but probably paid about 10 times what he was worth judging by capabilities, experience, and ability or rather non-ability to do the job.

I'll bet he will struggle to get another job at anywhere near the average wages for an executive position.

And by the way, does anyone know just what he can do for a living.

That's insane money. Which makes me question if Ashley really did pay him that.
