    TA bitch slapping the bitches.

To be fair he does have a point. There is a (hopefully small) number of people who want to spready negativity whenever they can, and for whatever reasons only known to them. We need everyone to pull together, because at the end of the day we all love and support the same club.

Some folk simply don't like him, never have & never will. Summed up perfectly on Eastfootball - "He's still a fat ex polis ex agent hun. Until he invents a time machine to change any of those facts I'll no be trusting him".

When there's folk with opinions like that, there's always gonna be negativity towards the guy.

    Yes

I ignore those fans tbh, the club has only improved since TA has came in and the Ogrens, both have turned us round and look where we are from 3.5 years ago when we were a joke in all departments apart from the fan backing, we are back where we belong and have the Utd back we had become accustomed to with players we like who live being here

MO has been upfront about hoping to make money at united...TA is an ex football agent...I have never met a football agent that can't make money by wheelin and dealin. TA is a great fit for the owner and against my early judgement, he seems be getting players in that could make a return for the owner. If the by product of this is we get a decent team...then I am a for it. But I am cautious that if greed gets in the way...then we could be in trouble( back to the days of Stephen Thompson) The owner has sent out all the right soundbites about wanting the fans support and as long as we are doing well on the field then he will get it. I am definitely sitting in the glass is half full camp but just hope that greed doesn't enter the equation.

He still never addressed being at Ibrox for Walter Smith's funeral and not engaging with a table full of United legend's who were only 2 tables away from him.I am not having a go at him but relations do seem to be strained between the past and the present not helped by his,"I couldna give a phuck what youse done in the 80's" rant on twitter.

It's interesting what's going on here. There definitely seems to be quite a bit of polarisation between two sides.

It looks to me like a simple case of folk not liking each other but it's pretty unedifying for all concerned that this is being played out in public like this.

Agreed. I was surprised to see a statement being put out in the public in the first instance. I was however content with what I was reading with regards the memorabilia. Fair play. That soon turned to embarrassment however when it started to get personal. It should've been a club statement, not a Tony Asghar statement.

I think its disgraceful that he has been subjected to that kind of language by a fan of our club.To me that's just as bad if not worse than the Ojo incident.

Slight difference, would that fan say the same thing to TA's face? Doubt it.

I thought the statement was a wee bit too defiant. Came across as a bit angry which isn't a good look on what is after all a Club website. On the other hand it must be hard to give your all when getting sniped at from some fans regardless of what you do.
No idea who's right and wrong and all that but it would be nice if the Shed could march together. Will it happen? Unlikely by the look of things.
