    Ipswich Town Post Match Thoughts

A repeat of the result 2 years ago that seemingly kicked us on to promotion. Hopefully the same this time around as we move to the top of the league with some of those around us faltering. Glass half full Madsters can take comfort in the knowledge that we are rapidly approaching the mythical 50pts required to avoid relegation . The other form teams of Ipswich and Charlton seem to have faltered recently so let's keep our run going Saturday as another challenging fixture hits us.

    Thoughts?

That seemed like a stroll against a decent side, just shows how far we have come

There is such a high level of confidence throughout the team. Apart from the bookings it was an almost perfect performance. REG is proving to be a top performer - so calm and assured. Could we nick him off Udders Field?

Freddie much improved, but needs to improve his judgement as to when to smack it.

Congratulations to Warney et al for setting a new high unbeaten run. Great!

Thanks too to JM for his insightful comms.

    Very happy tonight!

Let the other clubs call us 'physical etc' - then be caught out when they realise we can and do play some great football - not where we are right now by good fortune - immense performance and result tonight - another tough one on Saturday - keep it going lads

Excellent away performance. Ipswich fan just said to me you are the best side we have played by miles.
    Reg man of match.
    Fans brilliant again.
    Off we go home.

Another clean sheet, improved goal difference and three points in an away game against a team expected to do well in this division.

    What’s not to like?

One drawback though is that other teams might employ “ Wycombe tactics” against us.

They might do, but Wycombe are by far the best at deploying such tactics.

This is the best squad we have had for a very very long time.Every player who puts that shirt on has all the skill and give 100%.We deservedly go top of this division because we ARE the best.It is pure entertainment and will be a joy to watch in the Championship next season.
