I'm more worried about the general apathy about the place ...

Referred to this in an earlier post - Stockport might be playing non-league, but the attitude of the players, and the enthusiasm of their fans is two leagues above Crewe at the moment

So my point is the lack of ambition shown by the board to provide such low funds that honest hardworking fans are having to pay to watch such a poor standard of football. It is of great credit to Crewe that the best players in the current first team are mainly academy graduates.

I would prefer seeing our young players in the first team than watching the washed up has been mercenaries.

Agree 100% with you Wartman ...

Would prefer to see 'one of our own' all day long, just need a couple of experienced 'old heads' to impart their wisdom.
