Sister in law works for the NHS in the Leeds area.

Part of their job is tracking the areas where vaccine uptake is low.

In one area they’ve been actually knocking on doors to see why the occupants haven’t responded to jab invitations, but basically have been met with cast iron refusals to have one.

Another area they set up a free buffet for attendees to come forward on proviso they had the jab. Take up was still low.

We have carrots but no stick

Yes because complying has been going so well so far.

How many jabs now for "freedom"?

It's been going so well that we have been able to live without any real restrictions since July. Haven't you noticed?

The virus is what it is and the vaccines are the best that we have been able to come up with in the time available. Those are the facts. I appreciate that facts aren't something that you are generally concerned with, but they won't change because you want them to.

How about this for a scenario

    Covid omicron spreads rapidly
    Football grinds to a halt
    Season abandoned
Teams get prize money based on final position

    But no promotion or relegation

Is there a threshold of number of games played for a season to stop and for promotion/relegation to still take place? Asking on behalf of a Posh fan

What applied last time might not be the same this time

Would keep Derby in the Championship

would be ironic that we could be denied with perhaps a stronger side than last time - assuming January comes and goes without a significant weakening of the strength we have in our current squad - just enjoying what the Millers are achieving whilst we can - hope it continues
