Credit to you Plater, that A14 is a long drag in good weather never mind the conditions on Saturday. I can remember going to an evening fixture at Barnsley some years ago on a freezing cold night. I was on my own and we lost, the return journey was not pleasant.
When I played games of Football or Rugby I never minded the rain, it was the wind that always provided the worst conditions.. Saturday couldn't have been comfortable for the players either.
