    WAlsall rejoice thread

Workmanlike performance but still a long way to go. Walsall were not very good

Howard 6 The usual one mistake but obviously very important to our survival this year
    Mellor 5
    Whelan 6
    McDonald 7 (MoM)
    Reilly 5
    Gibson 6
Guy 6 Frustrating to watch him. But the one decent set piece was redemption
    Feeney 6.5 decent
Young 6 ran and ran with little penetration
    Fishburn 6.5 worked hard
    Armer 5
    Charters 5
Abrahams - 6 showed what he should be doing

Think a draw would have been a fair result.Anyhow it turns out Abrahams was in the right place at the right time, easy isnt it.After more than Nine hours of trying which is a disgrace by any stretch, bingo job done.

Hard to criticise the defence today.

    Howard 8
    Mellor 7
    McDonald 8
    Feeney 8
    Armer 7

    Gibson 7
    Guy 7
    Whelan 7
    Riley 7

    Young 7
    Fishburn 5

    Abrahams 7
    Charters 6
    Mampala 5

    We desperately need a goalscorer.

Walsall will not forget that thrashing in a hurry. They were subjected to a merciless 90 minutes of being flayed by not only the formidable power but also the limitless finess of Carlisle United. You can see, from the statistics at the end of the report, that Walsall
played almost fuck all part in the match. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/59356873
