Scenery not very good though!! … SB would get a good view of Amy on those races that go round a few times !

On a serious note… I can actually say my son won a tour yellow jersey…. And not lie.
He enters channel 4 competition a few years ago….. and won one…. It would fit a 10 year old … and he gave it to me as he knew I like watching it on telly. Still have iit somewhere

For me was Rugby Union and I was lucky enough to pull on the Yorkshire White Rose jersey, I think it was on 9 occasions.

No money in it back in those days just physical pain and weekend pi$$ ups = more pain!!.

Eventually work became the priority to me.

Today totally different, gyms within rugby clubs and some money in the game if you can make the grade.

Was indeed Happy Days.... despite busted nose, shoulder, ribs and ankle!!

I tried to make it into the Women’s Beach Volleyball Team - but they said I’d not got the right credentials.
They even refused my application when I applied to train as an umpire.

I love it when theres a cycling pile up when they are sprinting to the finish line lol. You get some right spectacular grazing and bruised egos as well. 😁

A great reward after cycling 120k is a broken collar bone!
Shaving your legs helps with the grazes, ( not just for speed.)… mine never grew back.,
