Heard this from 72 on Radio 2 asI was driving back from Tenby today.
I hadn't heard it for donkeys years and if I'm honest, I thought it was an early Slade track, the name of the band didn't register with me at all.
Love it though and will play it a lot more now I've rediscovered it.

Well that's a blast from the past! Seem to remember I had this on one of those compilation LPs that were so popular back in the day-probably a K-tel one. Can see what you both mean about he similarity to Slade.
