    Rafa

He's now the favourite with the bookies to be next manager sacked:

The Scouse mackems were desperate for him to fail. Massive ideas above their station and forever in the shadow of their neighbours so the pressure to achieve is even keener than it might be elsewhere.

Everton were once the bigger of the two clubs and indeed potentially the biggest club in England. In the 1950s Liverpool were in the old second division until Shankley come along.Liverpool won their first FA Cup in the 1960s which had always been considered the biggest trophy until European football come along in the mid 50s.

Sadly for Rafa them days are long gone.

I think Rafa was a good fit for us at the time, sadly I don’t think the same applies at Everton. If he does get sacked, he won’t be short of opportunities.

    Capt obvious comment...

This is the man we needed now. Could have slotted straight in, knows the players, where we are and what we need.

I'm not dissing Howe, he will get us there eventually but we need instant points - this would have been the perfect fit.

...and no matter what anyone says we played good stuff towards the end of his last stay.

    100% agree with this.
